Joliet Catholic Academy has announced its Students of the Month for October. The honored students are Zoe Girard, Samuel Kottman, and Molly Vershay, each recognized for their achievements both academically and within the community.

School portrait retake day set for October 7

To view their school portraits, students should check for an email from "Visual Image Photography" or visit vipis.com. A student ID number may be necessary to access the images. If a retake is needed, students are advised not to select a yearbook picture yet. Retake Day is scheduled for Monday, October 7th, and is intended for those who need a new picture or have not taken a Yearbook Portrait this year. It is mandatory for all students to have a current portrait in the yearbook.

Enrollment at Walnut Trails Elementary School rose compared to the previous year, according to the Illinois State Board of Education.

Providence Catholic student achieves perfect score on ACT

Jimmy Piko, a junior at Providence Catholic High School in New Lenox, has achieved a rare feat by scoring a perfect 36 on the ACT test. This accomplishment is attained by less than half of one percent of the 1.3 million students who take the ACT annually.

Providence Catholic promotes biliteracy through enhanced Spanish program
