Joliet West High School will host a FAFSA/RISE Act Alternative Application Completion Workshop on October 8 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. The event is open to all Joliet Township High School students and their families, aiming to help attendees complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or the RISE Act Alternative Application for financial aid. Participants are advised to enter through Door 6, located at the cafeteria entrance off Glenwood Avenue.
The workshop is designed to support students and families as they navigate the financial aid application process. For additional details about what documents or information to bring, attendees are encouraged to review further resources provided by the school.
Joliet West High School serves grades 9 through 12 and had an enrollment of 3,310 students during the 2019-2020 academic year. The student body was composed of approximately 34.9 percent white students, 21.2 percent black students, 39 percent Hispanic students, and 1.7 percent Asian students according to data from the Illinois Report Card (https://www.illinoisreportcard.com/).
