Joliet Fire Department conducts emergency drill at West Campus

Attention has been drawn to Joliet West Campus, where the City of Joliet Fire Department is conducting an emergency drill from March 24 to March 26. The drill simulates a gas explosion scenario and involves a significant presence from local emergency services.

During this period, residents can expect to see ambulances and other emergency vehicles from Joliet, Plainfield, and Channahon in the vicinity of the campus. The exercise aims to enhance preparedness for potential real-life emergencies.
