Students and families are invited to attend the TRIO Family Night event, "Test It, Fund It: ACT + FAFSA Crash Course," scheduled for Thursday, October 23. The event will take place at the Joliet Central Multipurpose Room with doors opening at 4:00 PM.

Organizers say the evening will provide information and resources to help participants prepare for the ACT exam and learn about funding options for college education. Topics include test strategies, financial aid through FAFSA, and scholarship opportunities.

"Bring your family, your questions, and your college goals—we’re here to help you succeed," event organizers said.

Joliet West High School serves students in grades 9 through 12 in Joliet and Will County.
