Joliet Township High School (JTHS) students have the opportunity to earn five community service hours by attending a Career Fair hosted by MAC Mentoring. This event is scheduled for April 3, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the National Hook Up of Black Women.
MAC Mentoring was founded in honor of Michael Austin Clark and focuses on supporting African American males. The Career Fair will feature successful African American men from various professions, providing students with insights into different career paths and serving as a source of inspiration.
Transportation will be available from each JTHS campus at 5:30 PM, with a return at 8:15 PM. Students interested in participating must submit permission slips by Wednesday, April 2, 2025. For Central Campus students, permission slips should be submitted to Dr. Collins in Room 364; West Campus students should see Mr. Robinson in Room B234 or Ms. Tiffany Rucker in Room B119; Pathways students should go to Mr. Johnson's Main Office.
To earn the community service hours, attendees need to check in with Shelley Clark during the event. Questions can be directed to Shelley Clark via email.
