Aux Sable offers paid summer internships for Joliet Township High School students

Aux Sable is offering three paid summer internships exclusively for students from Joliet Township High School (JTHS). These positions aim to provide hands-on experience in various departments and are open to juniors and seniors.

The Engineering Intern position within the Engineering & Construction Department will support multiple engineering disciplines, including chemical, electrical, project, controls engineering, and document control. "Safety will be most important, and this will be learned through training and job shadowing." Candidates interested in pursuing an engineering major in college are preferred.

In the Maintenance Department, the Logistics Intern role offers practical experience with plant process equipment. This internship focuses on troubleshooting, repairs, maintenance documentation, and developing preventative maintenance schedules. "Safety will be most important," with ongoing training provided. No prior experience is necessary for candidates interested in becoming maintenance technicians.

The Lab Intern position also within the Engineering & Construction Department targets improvements in product analysis and lab procedures. The intern will engage in tasks like revamping calibration logs and testing procedures to enhance their understanding of chemistry related to natural gas liquids. "Safety will be most important," emphasized through training.
