Joliet Township High School (JTHS) is inviting local businesses and community members to its Partnership Recruitment Breakfast on Friday, October 3. The event will be held at the JTHS Administrative Center, located at 300 Caterpillar Drive in Joliet. Breakfast will be served at 7:30 a.m., followed by a program beginning at 8 a.m. The event will conclude by 9 a.m.

The purpose of the breakfast is to inform attendees about opportunities to partner with JTHS and support students through real-world experiences. Topics covered during the event include internships, career fairs, program sponsorships, volunteer roles, and other ways to get involved with the school.

"Are you interested in partnering with JTHS to provide valuable real-world opportunities to our students? If so, join us on Friday, October 3, at the JTHS Administrative Center, 300 Caterpillar Drive in Joliet, for our Partnership Recruitment Event. Breakfast is available at 7:30 a.m., the program begins at 8 a.m., and the event concludes by 9 a.m. Attendees will learn the ways in which they can get involved at JTHS. Topics include internships, career fairs, program sponsorships, volunteer opportunities, and more," reads an announcement from JTHS.

Joliet West High School serves grades nine through twelve and had an enrollment of 3,310 students during the 2019-2020 school year according to data from Illinois Report Card. Of these students, grade nine had the highest concentration with 27.3 percent of all students (source). Grade ten accounted for 24.7 percent (source), grade eleven made up 25.1 percent (source), and grade twelve represented 26.1 percent (source). The student body was composed of approximately 34.9 percent white students, 21.2 percent black students, 39 percent Hispanic students, and 1.7 percent Asian students during that year (source).
