The Joliet Township High School CEO Program has announced plans for a Mini-Christmas Carnival scheduled for Thursday, December 12, from 6:00 to 8:30 PM. The event will take place at Joliet Central High School in the Cafeteria and Galleria.
Organized by students in the CEO Program, the carnival is set to include games and activities aimed at children, as well as local vendors, sponsors, and holiday-themed food and entertainment. The program aims to engage local families, promote entrepreneurship among students, and establish a new holiday tradition.
To help guide planning efforts, the CEO team has released a brief survey to gather community feedback on what residents would like to see at the event. According to organizers, "Community feedback is highly valued and will play a key role in the planning and success of this exciting new event."
The Creating Entrepreneurial Opportunities (CEO) Program at Joliet Township High School is described as "a year-long educational experience that immerses students in real-world business practices." Students participating in the program interact with area business leaders, develop professional skills, and create their own entrepreneurial projects. The initiative emphasizes innovation, experiential learning, and partnerships with local organizations.
