Joliet West High School has issued a final reminder to families and students about the upcoming yearbook photo retake and makeup day. The event is scheduled for September 22, 2025, in the Cafeteria Rotunda. This will be the last opportunity for students and staff, especially seniors, to have their yearbook photos taken. There is no cost for yearbook photos.
Students can view their school portraits by checking for an email from “Visual Image Photography” or by visiting vipis.com. A student ID number may be required to access the images.
"If you need a retake picture, do not select a yearbook picture. This retake day is for students who have not yet taken a Yearbook Portrait this year or those needing a new picture. All students must have a current portrait to appear in this year’s yearbook."
Retake photos will be added to each student’s online image gallery, with email notifications sent out about one week after the retake day.
Seniors are reminded to follow separate deadlines for submitting their yearbook pictures.
"The final deadline to select a yearbook picture is October 21, 2025 for West underclass students and seniors who only have photos taken at school on fall picture day. After these dates, VIP will choose a yearbook image for you."
Seniors who participated in both the regular school picture day and paid for a “VIP Premier Senior Portrait Session” should select their preferred image from the Premier Session gallery. Those preferring an image from school picture day should contact support@vipis.com.
