Troy Shorewood School Education: 205 white students were enrolled in 2022-23 school year

There were 205 white students enrolled in Troy Shorewood School in the 2022-23 school year, 5.5% less than the previous year, according to the Illinois State Board of Education report.

Data showed that the school welcomed 337 students during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, white students comprised 60.8% of the student body to be the most represented ethnicity in the school.

The school is located in Troy Community Consolidated School District 30C with a central office in Shorewood.

Among the seven schools in Troy Community Consolidated School District 30C, Troy Middle School recorded the highest enrollment of white students in the 2022-23 school year, with a total of 901 students.

Illinois registered one of the largest enrollment drops during the pandemic. Since 2020, the Prarie State lost nearly 118,000 students, further intensifying a decline trend established since 2013.
