Registration for the upcoming Parent Teacher Conferences is now open, providing parents and guardians an opportunity to discuss academic progress with teachers. The conferences are scheduled to be held virtually on Thursday, October 24, from 4 to 7 p.m., and Friday, October 25, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Interested participants are encouraged to register via PowerPTC at their earliest convenience to secure preferred time slots.
The deadline for registration is set for midnight on Thursday, October 17. The conferences offer a platform for discussing grades, attendance, support services, and any concerns parents might have. It is recommended that students attend these meetings alongside their parents or guardians.
For access to PowerPTC, users should log in using the email address associated with their student’s campus account. All users will initially use the password "Jths204" before being prompted to create a new one. Additional information and video instructions are available online for those needing assistance.
JTHS offers Spanish-speaking interpreters during the conferences upon request through PowerPTC scheduling. For interpretation needs in other languages or additional assistance, Marcela Flores can be contacted at 815-727-6904 or mflores@jths.org.
To accommodate the conferences, students will be dismissed early at 1:15 p.m. on Thursday, October 24, and there will be no classes on Friday, October 25.
