On March 22, 2025, Joliet Catholic Academy (JCA) marked the 40th anniversary of its Jubilate event with a themed evening titled "JCAsino Royale." The Bolingbrook Golf Club served as the venue for this fundraising occasion. The event was organized by chair couples Kristen and Darrel Swienton along with Tracy and Brian Zabel. Attendees were invited to dress in "Vegas classy chic" attire as they participated in an auction featuring over 175 items.
Among the notable auction items were a trip to Las Vegas including tickets to a show at the Sphere, and a chef-prepared dinner for eight. The event's Call for Cash aimed at upgrading JCA's website surpassed its financial target.
During the evening, Nicole and Mike Murray received the JCA Recognition Award for 2025. Guests engaged in casino games such as poker, roulette, blackjack, and craps before taking to the dance floor. Student volunteers contributed by selling raffle tickets and assisting guests with bidding devices.
Christine Voss expressed gratitude towards sponsors featured in the 2025 Ad Book: "Thank you to our generous sponsors for supporting JCAsino Royale."
The event acknowledged donors, sponsors, bidders, guests, volunteers, parents, alumni, community members, faculty, staff, and administration. Voss stated: "Thank you for being an essential part of our mission and for believing in the power of action! We strive for success with the blessings of Our Lord."
