Families and students of Joliet West High School are being reminded that October 9, 2025, will be a School Improvement Day with an early release schedule. Students will follow the “A” Schedule on this day.

According to the announcement, Central, West, and Pathway students will be dismissed at 11:45 a.m., AVAC students at 11:30 a.m., and Transition Center students at 10:45 a.m. The school encourages families to check the attendance calendar for further details.

Joliet West High School serves grades 9 through 12 and had an enrollment of 3,310 students during the 2019-2020 school year. The school is located in Joliet in Will County (https://www.illinoisreportcard.com/).

The student body is diverse, with 34.9 percent white students, 21.2 percent black students, 39 percent Hispanic students, and 1.7 percent Asian students as reported in the same academic year (https://www.illinoisreportcard.com/).
