As the school year draws to a close, Joliet Township High School shared key information concerning student technology and upcoming events. Students returning to the school in August 2025 are reminded to retain their school-issued laptops over the summer and ensure they are in working condition. The school emphasizes avoiding extreme temperatures and periodically checking the devices.

Freshmen, sophomores, and juniors are encouraged to bring malfunctioning laptops to the Student Help Desk, which will be available weekdays through June and July, excluding specific holidays. Graduating seniors must return their laptops, power cords, and styluses by May 21, post their final exams. They are advised to save important files and emails before their school accounts are deactivated. A prompt resolution of any fees for damaged or missing items is necessary to participate in graduation activities.

The school also outlined significant events, including the Joliet West Spring Choir Concert on May 6 and the Spring Band Concert on May 13, both free and open to the public. The Volley4Vets event on May 15 at Joliet Central Main Gym aims to honor Will County veterans while supporting the Disabled Patriot Fund. Early release for students is scheduled on May 8, with varied dismissal timings for different student groups.

The JTHS Board of Education will hold its next meeting on May 20, and the graduation ceremonies for the Class of 2025 are set for May 24. Semester two final exams are slated for May 28-30. Looking further ahead, the Foundation will host its annual Brent Wadsworth Alumni Golf Outing on June 5 to raise funds supporting students, staff, and various school programs.
