"The Secret Garden," based on Frances Hodgson Burnett's novel, follows Mary Lennox, a young girl who is sent to live with her reclusive uncle after becoming an orphan. In the mysterious Misselthwaite Manor, she finds a neglected garden and revives it with help from new friends, uncovering hidden family secrets in the process.
The musical features a cast of talented Joliet West students led by senior Gracie Mitchell as Mary Lennox and senior Dylan Lee as Archibald Craven. With music by Lucy Simon and a book by Marsha Norman, this family-friendly production offers stunning visuals and powerful storytelling.
"Don’t miss this breathtaking production," organizers say. They encourage audiences of all ages to secure tickets now and experience "the magic of The Secret Garden."
