Doug Pryor President & CEO Will County CED | Official Website

The deadline for applications to the Will County CED summer internship program is approaching, with only seven days left for submissions. The program offers 147 paid summer internships available to select school districts in Will County. Students are encouraged to apply for multiple positions to increase their chances of securing an internship.

Internship descriptions and applications can be accessed online. Graduating seniors from the Class of 2025 are also eligible to apply. The application deadline is set for February 21.

Students completing the internship may earn up to 0.5 credits, receiving 0.25 credits per 60 hours of approved work experience per semester. In addition to payment, students will receive academic credit.

An Internship Application Workshop will be held at the Community Connections Expo on February 20 at Joliet West from 6 to 7 p.m., providing assistance with applications and resumes. Attendees will gain two hours of community service and a raffle ticket for prizes.

Applicants must read job descriptions carefully, submit separate applications for each desired position, and provide their own transportation. Two references are required: one from a teacher and another personal reference. A resume is mandatory, while a cover letter may be necessary depending on the job description.

Students must submit an unofficial transcript accessible through Infinite Campus.

For more information or inquiries about participating as an internship host, contact Kayla Sorensen, Director of Investor Relations.
