Members of community and faith-based organizations are invited to attend the second Joliet Region Education Community Connectors (JRECC) Meeting on Friday, December 12. The meeting will begin with a hot breakfast at 7:30 a.m. and is scheduled to conclude by 10 a.m. Spanish interpretation will be available.
The agenda includes an overview of services provided by the Will County Children’s Advocacy Center. There will also be a presentation from Joliet Township High School (JTHS) Student Services focusing on homelessness and the McKinney-Vento Act.
According to organizers, "JRECC is an opportunity for members of community and faith-based organizations to connect with JTHS leadership and the superintendent to collaboratively align resources, embrace diversity, and support the JTHS Strategic Plan."
Joliet West High School, which serves grades 9 through 12 in Joliet and Will County, had an enrollment of 3,310 students during the 2019-2020 school year https://www.illinoisreportcard.com/.
