Joliet West High School is seeking community members to serve as mentors for its upcoming Fall Community Mentorship Dinner for Senior Athletes. The event, organized by Athletic Director Steve Millsaps, will take place on August 27, 2025, from 4:45 to 5:45 p.m. in the school cafeteria.
During the dinner, each mentor will be paired with a senior athlete to share their personal story and engage in conversation. Organizers say these interactions are intended to build connections and inspire students.
"Every path to success is different, and we hope that you can share yours," said Millsaps.
Dinner will be provided at no cost for participants. Those interested in serving as mentors are encouraged to sign up.
