Families and students are reminded that there will be no school on Monday, May 26, in observance of Memorial Day. The final day of classes for the 2024-2025 school year is Friday, May 30.

The Class of 2025 graduation ceremonies for Joliet Central and West will take place tomorrow, May 24, at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. The events can be live-streamed online. "Congratulations to the Class of 2025!"

Semester two final exams are scheduled from May 28 to May 30. Morning bus pick-up schedules for exams on May 29 and May 30 have been provided.

A student volunteer opportunity is available on Saturday, May 31, during the Bicentennial Bluffs Community Clean Up Day and Bake Sale at St. Peter Lutheran Church gym in Joliet.

The JTHS Foundation's Annual Brent Wadsworth Alumni Golf Outing will occur on June 5. This event welcomes alumni, staff, business partners, and community members.

For students entering the senior year in the upcoming school year, back-to-school vaccines are available at the Will County Health Department by appointment. Proof of receiving two doses of the Meningococcal Conjugate Vaccine (MCV4) is required for all incoming seniors.

Another student volunteer opportunity is presented by the United Leukodystrophy Foundation on June 27 and June 28 at Eaglewood Resort in Itasca, IL.

Aunt Martha’s Health and Wellness will host summer health fairs on June 14 and August 2 at East Community Health Center in Joliet. These fairs offer school physicals, kids' activities, fresh produce baskets, and community resources.

On July 12, Will County Community Health Center will hold its annual Back-to-School Health Fair at Neal Avenue in Joliet. The event includes games, giveaways, sports physicals, dental check-ups, school physicals, and vaccines by appointment due to high demand.
