Semester 2 final exams for Joliet Central and Joliet West are scheduled from May 28 to May 30. The schedule, available in both English and Spanish, outlines specific details for each day.
On Wednesday, May 28, students will follow an eight-period day with a single final exam during period 2. There are no changes to the arrival or dismissal times on this day.
For Thursday, May 29, two different arrival times have been set. Students will be dismissed at 1:35 p.m., except those taking a make-up exam. The first group of students arrives at 8:20 a.m. if they have a period 4 class. The second group arrives at 9:40 a.m. if their period 4 is lunch/advisory or study hall; these students do not report until period 5.
On Friday, May 30, there are again two arrival times with dismissal at 12:15 p.m., except for those needing to complete make-up exams. Freshman students arrive at 8:20 a.m. for their period 1 exam, while upper-class students arrive at 9:40 a.m. for their period 3 exam.
Morning bus pick-up schedules will be announced closer to the exam dates.
Breakfast will be provided each day; however, lunch services will not be available on May 29 or May 30.
Time has been allocated on both May 29 and May 30 for students who need to make up an exam. It is necessary for the student or their parent/guardian to contact the teacher if an exam make-up is required.
