Joliet Catholic Academy names May Students of the Month

Joliet Catholic Academy has announced its May Students of the Month, recognizing Tyler Czerak, Keegan Farnaus, and Elizabeth Dvorak for their achievements in academics and community involvement.

Dr. Jeffrey Budz, President/Principal of JCA, expressed pride in the students' accomplishments. "JCA is proud of the success these students have exhibited in both the classroom and in the community," he stated.

Tyler Czerak, from Bolingbrook and a graduate of St. Mary Immaculate grade school, is involved in several honor societies and has been recognized as an Illinois State Scholar. He participates in varsity baseball and various clubs while enjoying activities like weightlifting and playing guitar. Tyler plans to study mechanical engineering at Marquette University.

Keegan Farnaus, hailing from Joliet and a graduate of St. Jude Catholic grade school, is also active in honor societies and sports teams. He has received numerous awards including a Sportsmanship Award from the Illinois High School Association. Keegan will attend Quincy University to play baseball and major in business with a minor in finance.

Elizabeth Dvorak, from Plano and a graduate of St. Andrew the Apostle grade school, is involved in tennis and manages the varsity boys volleyball team. She participates in various clubs and community programs such as Hearts on Fire Confirmation program. Elizabeth intends to pursue radiography or biology at the University of St. Francis.
