YMCA partners with college for new NFL FLAG Football League

The Galowich Family YMCA has announced a collaboration with Joliet Junior College to introduce a new NFL FLAG Football League this spring. This initiative aims to provide children of various ages and skill levels with the opportunity to engage in flag football, a non-contact sport that emphasizes safety and enjoyment.

NFL FLAG is recognized as the largest flag football league in the United States and offers participants the unique experience of wearing official NFL gear. The program focuses on teaching the fundamentals of football while ensuring that all participants have an equal chance to play and enjoy themselves.

"Kids of all ages and skill levels will participate in a safe, non-contact environment, allowing boys and girls the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of football," stated representatives from the organizing bodies. They further emphasized, "In this program everyone plays, and everyone has fun!"
