Joliet West High School standout Alex Hughes’ college team won in NCAA Division II softball game on Saturday, March 8

On Saturday, March 8, former Joliet West High School standout Alex Hughes’ current college team, the Bridgeport Purple Knights, won 6-2 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Ursuline Arrows.

The game took place at USSSA Space Coast Complex. This was their first matchup against the Arrows this season.

The Purple Knights’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 8 at 12:15 p.m. at USSSA Space Coast Complex against Gannon Golden Knights.
