Wednesday, March 5: Joliet West High School standout Alex Hughes’ college team loses to Rollins Tars

On Wednesday, March 5, former Joliet West High School standout Alex Hughes’ current college team, the Bridgeport Purple Knights, lost 8-3 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Rollins Tars.

The game took place at Rollins Softball Stadium at Martin Luther King, Jr. Park. This was their first matchup against the Tars this season.

The Purple Knights’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, March 5 at 7:50 p.m. at Rollins Softball Stadium at Martin Luther King, Jr. Park against Rollins Tars.
