The Joliet Township High School SteelTigers Robotics Team is set to host its 2024-2025 Robotics Community Night on Thursday, May 15, at 5:30 p.m. The event will take place at 300 Caterpillar Drive and is open to students, families, and community members.
The evening will highlight the achievements of the student-led robotics team as they present their robot designed for this season's FIRST Tech Challenge. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about the team's journey, witness the robot in action, and even try operating it themselves with a chance to win prizes.
Activities will start in the Board Room and conclude with a tour of the JTHS Robotics Lab, offering a behind-the-scenes view of where innovation occurs. Light refreshments will be available.
"We are incredibly proud of what our students have accomplished this season," stated a representative from JTHS SteelTigers. "This night is a chance to celebrate their hard work while giving the community a closer look at the exciting world of robotics."
