Semester 1 final exams for Joliet Central and Joliet West are scheduled from December 18 to December 20. The exam schedule is available in both English and Spanish.
On Wednesday, December 18, students will follow an eight-period day with one final exam during period two. There are no changes to the student arrival or dismissal times on this day.
For Thursday, December 19, there are two different arrival times. Students who have a period four class should arrive at 8:20 a.m., while those with a period four lunch/advisory or study hall should arrive at 9:40 a.m. Students without classes until period five do not need to report until that time. On this day, students will be released from school at 1:35 p.m., unless they need to take a make-up exam.
Friday, December 20, also has two distinct arrival times. Freshman students taking their period one exam should arrive by 8:20 a.m., while upper-class students taking their period three exam should arrive by 9:40 a.m. All students will be released at 12:15 p.m., unless they have scheduled make-up exams.
The morning bus pick-up schedule for December 19 and December 20 will be communicated closer to the dates of the exams.
Breakfast will be provided each day; however, no lunch service will be available on December 19 and December 20. Students are advised to bring snacks or sack lunches if needed.
Time has been allocated on both days for final exam make-ups. It is necessary for students or their parents/guardians to contact teachers if an exam needs to be rescheduled.
