Bryan McCoy records 11 tackles in Akron’s loss to Rutgers

On Saturday, September 7, Bryan McCoy, a former standout Joliet West High School athlete, saw action in the Akron Zips’ 49-to-17 loss to the Rutgers Scarlet Knights.

McCoy is a 6′0″ 225-pound junior linebacker.

He recorded 11 tackles, helping the Akron Zips struggle against the Rutgers Scarlet Knights offense.

Akron’s football team is a NCAA Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) team that plays in the Mid-American Conference.
