Village announces curbside leaf collection schedule starting October

The Village's Public Works Department is set to commence its Curbside Leaf Collection Program starting the second full week of October. This program will continue until December 1st or until the first snowfall, whichever comes first. The collection will occur between 7:00 am and 3:00 pm. Leaves placed on the parkway after crews have passed will be collected the following week.

Residents are reminded to adhere to guidelines for safe and efficient operation of the program. Additionally, residents can participate in the Bagged Leaf & Yard Waste Collection Program provided by Waste Management, which concludes on December 15th. This service allows residents to fill approved yard waste bags with leaves and other yard waste for curbside pickup on regular trash collection days, with a weight limit of 50 pounds per bag. Branches and brush must be cut into four-foot lengths and tied into bundles not exceeding 50 pounds each.
