Walnut Trails Elementary School reported that 54.3% of its students failed the ELA portion of the Illinois Assessment of Readiness (IAR) in the 2023-24 school year, according to the Illinois State Board of Education.

These students did not meet the required standards of the test, compared to the 45.7% who did.

The total number of Walnut Trails Elementary School students who failed their ELA assessments fell by 11% from the previous school year.
