Joliet West High School has announced the schedule for yearbook photos for the 2025-2026 school year. Students and families are reminded that the first day of school is Tuesday, August 19.
Photos for the yearbook will be taken by grade level during specific classes including PE, Health, JROTC, Drivers Ed, and Band. Students who do not have these classes should have their photo taken during their advisory period. All photos will be taken in the Field House from 7:15 a.m. to 3:15 p.m., with retakes available in the Café Rotunda during lunch and advisory periods.
The schedule is as follows:
- August 19: Freshmen, sophomores, and all staff
- August 29: Juniors, seniors, and all staff
- September 22: Picture retakes for all students and staff
"Yearbook pictures are free through Visual Image Photography (VIP), and proofs will be emailed within 2-3 weeks by VIP with an option to purchase. All seniors should take the free yearbook photo unless they’ve made a studio appointment for senior portraits at a VIP location."
Additional details about VIP Photography include checking photo dates online, signing up for alerts when photos are ready to view, ordering from multiple images or selecting from various print packages and products. Photos will be posted online shortly after picture days and orders will be delivered directly home.
Joliet West High School serves grades 9 through 12 with an enrollment of over 3,300 students according to the Illinois Report Card (https://www.illinoisreportcard.com/).
