Joliet West High School standout Alex Hughes’ college team won in NCAA Division II softball game on Saturday, March 22

On Saturday, March 22, former Joliet West High School standout Alex Hughes’ current college team, the Bridgeport Purple Knights, won 7-1 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Georgian Court Lions.

The game took place at SEI Investments Field. This was their first matchup against the Lions this season.

The Purple Knights’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 22 at 3:15 p.m. at SEI Investments Field against Georgian Court Lions.
