Saturday, March 15: Joliet West High School standout Alex Hughes’ college team loses to Wilmington Wildcats

On Saturday, March 15, former Joliet West High School standout Alex Hughes’ current college team, the Bridgeport Purple Knights, lost 5-3 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Wilmington Wildcats.

The game took place at Seaside Park Softball Complex. This was their second matchup against the Wildcats this season.

The Purple Knights’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, March 19 at 2:30 p.m. at Seaside Park Softball Complex against Bloomfield Bears.
