On Friday, Feb. 28, former Joliet West High School standout James Love’s college team lost in an NCAA Division I baseball game

On Friday, Feb. 28, former Joliet West High School standout James Love’s current college team, the Eastern Illinois Panthers, lost 12-5 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Austin Peay Governors.

The game took place at Joe Maynard Field at Raymond C. Hand Park. This was their first matchup against the Governors this season.

The Panthers’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 1 p.m. at Joe Maynard Field at Raymond C. Hand Park against Austin Peay Governors.
