Joliet West Class of 2025 Graduation | Joliet West High School

Graduation day for Joliet West's Class of 2025 is fast approaching, bringing with it a series of events and procedures. To assist in navigating this period, the school has compiled a timeline for students and their families.

Students must ensure their caps and gowns are ordered through Jostens as soon as possible. "We are unable to collect money or distribute items unless they are pre-ordered and paid for in full," stated the school's administration. For inquiries, Jostens can be contacted at 630-963-3500.

On April 14th, graduates will receive a link to choose their preferred time slot for the graduation ceremony on May 24th. Options include sessions at either 11:00 am or 2:00 pm, with sign-up closing on April 21st. Only students can register using their JTHS emails.

Senior Awards will take place on May 7th, followed by prom at DiNolfo’s Banquets in Homer Glen on May 9th. Obligations such as fees must be cleared online by May 16th before cap and gown pickup. Questions about these obligations can be directed to the Textbook Center at 815-727-6993.

The Senior Tailgate & Movie event is scheduled for May 19th, providing a chance for seniors to gather before heading to the football field for an evening movie screening.

May 21st marks both the Senior Dinner Dance at Mansard Room in Rockdale and the last attendance day for seniors. On this date, students should back up any necessary electronic files as access to JT accounts ends after graduation. All school-issued materials need to be returned by this date.

Caps, gowns, and tickets will be distributed on May 23rd, with each student receiving five tickets along with final transcript request forms available during check-out.

Graduation ceremonies will occur in the Field House on May 24th. Graduates should arrive an hour early for preparation while guests may enter simultaneously due to expected traffic congestion.

Only those meeting all JTHS requirements will participate in graduation ceremonies; concerns regarding eligibility should be directed toward student counselors.

Diplomas will not be handed out during the ceremony but mailed starting June 9th after reviewing final transcripts. Official diplomas are contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth by JTHS.

"We look forward to celebrating your senior," concluded Tecara Parker along with Assistant Principals Dr. Brett Marcum, Matt Narducci, and Dr. Sean Hackney.
