Registration for the second semester Parent Teacher Conferences at JTHS will close tomorrow, February 14, at noon. Families are encouraged to register promptly to secure preferred times and dates. The conferences will be held virtually on Thursday, March 6, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., and Friday, March 7, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
These conferences provide an opportunity for parents and guardians to discuss grades, attendance, support services, and any concerns with teachers. Students are encouraged to attend alongside their parents or guardians if possible.
To access the Parent Teacher Conference Website (PowerPTC), users should log on using the email address associated with their student's campus. First-time users should use the password "Jths204" and then create a new password as prompted. Returning users who have forgotten their password can use the "Forgot Password" option to reset it.
JTHS offers Spanish-speaking interpreters for those needing assistance during conferences. Interpretation requests must be made for each appointment through PowerPTC. For interpretation in languages other than Spanish or help with requesting an interpreter, contact Marcela Flores at 815-727-6904.
The virtual conferences on March 6 and March 7 coincide with adjusted school schedules: students will be dismissed early at 1:15 p.m. on March 6, and there will be no classes on March 7.
