Virtual parent teacher conference registration opens
Matthew Narducci Assistant Principal | Joliet West High School

Registration is now open for virtual Parent Teacher Conferences, allowing parents and guardians to secure convenient times and dates. The conferences are scheduled for Thursday, March 6, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., and Friday, March 7, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The registration period will close on Friday, February 14 at noon. These conferences provide an opportunity for discussions with teachers regarding grades, attendance, support services, and any concerns. It is encouraged that students attend the conferences alongside their parents or guardians if possible.

To access the Parent Teacher Conference website (PowerPTC), users can log on using the email address associated with their student's campus. First-time users should use the password "Jths204" and will be prompted to create a new password upon login. Returning users who have forgotten their password can use the "Forgot Password" option to reset it.

For those requiring interpretation services, JTHS offers Spanish-speaking interpreters during the conferences. Interpretation must be requested for each appointment through PowerPTC. For assistance in languages other than Spanish or help requesting an interpreter, contact Marcela Flores at 815-727-6904.

The schedule for Semester 2 Parent Teacher Conferences remains consistent: Thursday sessions from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., with students dismissed early at 1:15 p.m., and no classes on Friday when conferences occur from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
