YMCA Teen Achievers Workshops are set to offer valuable sessions aimed at assisting high school students and their families in planning for college. These free workshops, open to the community, will take place at Joliet Junior College.

The first session titled "Go to College, Not Into Debt: Solutions for an Affordable Education" is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. This workshop aims to provide insights into financial aid options and strategies that can help students find an affordable college education.

Following this, a second workshop named "Finding Free Money for College" will be held on Saturday, April 12 from 10 a.m. to noon. Attendees will learn tips on starting their college search process, finding scholarships, and completing applications.

These workshops are particularly suited for high school juniors and seniors; however, freshmen and sophomores are also encouraged to participate. Parents or guardians are welcome as well. Registration links for both workshops are available online.
