The Joliet Township High School Board of Education and Superintendent Dr. Karla Guseman have announced a State of the District Address scheduled for February 5. The event will take place from 5 to 7:30 p.m. at the Joliet Central High School Student Center & Cafeteria, located at 201 E. Jefferson Street in Joliet.
Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a Meet and Greet session from 5 to 6 p.m., which will include appetizers, musical entertainment, and community resource vendors. Following this, the State of the District Address is set to occur from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
According to the announcement, "The State of District Address will provide a comprehensive overview of the district’s health, including academic and financial aspects, the 5-year Strategic Plan, social-emotional supports, facilities, activities/athletics, and more."
Parking is available in any school lot with entry through Door J (Auditorium) off Eastern Avenue or through the Main Entrance (Student Center). Handicapped parking and elevator access are available via I Door off Eastern Avenue or through the Main Entrance (Student Center).
