Bryan McCoy records 11 tackles in Akron’s loss to Northern Illinois

On Wednesday, November 13, Bryan McCoy, a former standout Joliet West High School athlete, saw action in the Akron Zips’ 29-to-16 loss to the Northern Illinois Huskies.

McCoy is a 6′0″ 225-pound junior linebacker.

He recorded 11 tackles, helping the Akron Zips struggle against the Northern Illinois Huskies offense.

Akron’s football team is a NCAA Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) team that plays in the Mid-American Conference.
