Enrollment Analysis: multiracial students comprised 3.3% of Troy Shorewood School’s student body in 2022-23 school year

There were 11 multiracial students enrolled in Troy Shorewood School in the 2022-23 school year, 10% more than the previous year, according to the Illinois State Board of Education report.

Data showed that the school welcomed 337 students during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, multiracial students comprised 3.3% of the student body to be the least represented ethnicity in the school.

The school is located in Troy Community Consolidated School District 30C with a central office in Shorewood.

Among the seven schools in Troy Community Consolidated School District 30C, Troy Middle School recorded the highest enrollment of multiracial students in the 2022-23 school year, with a total of 901 students.

Illinois registered one of the largest enrollment drops during the pandemic. Since 2020, the Prarie State lost nearly 118,000 students, further intensifying a decline trend established since 2013.
