Bryan McCoy records 8 tackles in Akron’s loss to Western Michigan

On Saturday, October 12, Bryan McCoy, a former standout Joliet West High School athlete, saw action in the Akron Zips’ 34-to-24 loss to the Western Michigan Broncos.

McCoy is a 6′0″ 225-pound junior linebacker.

He recorded eight tackles, helping the Akron Zips struggle against the Western Michigan Broncos offense.

Akron’s football team is a NCAA Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) team that plays in the Mid-American Conference.
