Bryan McCoy records 12 tackles in Akron’s loss to Bowling Green

On Saturday, October 5, Bryan McCoy, a former standout Joliet West High School athlete, saw action in the Akron Zips’ 27-to-20 loss to the Bowling Green Falcons.

McCoy is a 6′0″ 225-pound junior linebacker.

He recorded 12 tackles, helping the Akron Zips struggle against the Bowling Green Falcons offense.

Akron’s football team is a NCAA Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) team that plays in the Mid-American Conference.
