Bryan McCoy records 3 tackles in Akron’s loss to South Carolina

On Saturday, September 21, Bryan McCoy, a former standout Joliet West High School athlete, saw action in the Akron Zips’ 50-to-7 loss to the South Carolina Gamecocks.

McCoy is a 6′0″ 225-pound junior linebacker.

He recorded three tackles, helping the Akron Zips struggle against the South Carolina Gamecocks offense.

Akron’s football team is a NCAA Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) team that plays in the Mid-American Conference.
