Bryan McCoy records 14 tackles in Akron’s loss to Ohio

On Saturday, September 28, Bryan McCoy, a former standout Joliet West High School athlete, saw action in the Akron Zips’ 30-to-10 loss to the Ohio Bobcats.

McCoy is a 6′0″ 225-pound junior linebacker.

He recorded 14 tackles, helping the Akron Zips struggle against the Ohio Bobcats offense.

Akron’s football team is a NCAA Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) team that plays in the Mid-American Conference.
