Joliet Catholic Academy is set to host its annual Angel and Hilltopper Banquet on November 7, 2024. This year, the event will feature NFL Hall of Famer and former Chicago Bear Brian Urlacher as the headline guest. The banquet will take place at the Joliet Catholic Academy Student Activity Center in Joliet.
The evening's schedule includes cocktails and a buffet-style dinner by Station One Smokehouse starting at 5:30 p.m., followed by a program at 7:00 p.m. Attendees can enjoy a cash bar and raffle prizes throughout the night. Tickets are priced at $60 per person, which covers entry and dinner, while tables for ten can be reserved for $600.
Sponsorship opportunities remain available for those interested. Joliet Catholic Academy has acknowledged Busey Bank, Edward Jones Investments, and Adler Roofing as premier sponsors for this year's event.
The banquet serves as a key fundraiser to support projects and scholarships at JCA. Sue Bebar, Director of Alumni Relations, expressed excitement about Urlacher's participation: “We are very much looking forward to having Brian Urlacher at JCA, a school so rich in tradition and football success.” She emphasized that the event welcomes alumni, parents, business supporters, and friends from the community.
Funds raised from previous banquets have been used for infrastructure improvements such as new windows, security systems, air conditioning units, chemistry equipment, as well as scholarships. Bebar highlighted the significance of these contributions: “The banquet is always a great time,” she said. “But what is even better is the support it will give to students and families needing financial support.”
