Community invited to join mentorship dinner for Joliet West senior athletes

Joliet West Athletic Director Steve Millsaps has extended an invitation to the community for participation in the upcoming Winter Mentorship Dinner aimed at senior athletes. This event is scheduled to take place on November 19, 2024, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the Joliet West Cafeteria.

The dinner provides an opportunity for mentors to be paired with student-athletes, allowing them to share their personal stories and engage in meaningful conversations. "The stories build connections and serve as an inspiration to our students," said Millsaps. He emphasized that every individual's path to success is unique and expressed hope that mentors will share their experiences.

Participants attending as mentors will receive dinner at no charge. Those interested are encouraged to express their interest in joining this initiative.
